Ouachita Campground at Edendell is the closest campground to the Ouachita River access in Oden, Arkansas, making us the perfect basecamp from which to head out and explore.

Whether you’re off for an all‑day river run, or drifting through a peaceful two‑hour float, our kayak rentals invite you to slow down and take in the natural beauty of the river valley.

Surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest, the river winds through rugged terrain alive with some of the state’s most vibrant wildlife. With upstream and downstream shuttle access, there are so many unique spots to explore!

Prices:

$40 a day per kayak, includes life jackets and paddles

$10 per person to add shuttle service to and from the Ouachita River.

17 adult kayaks for rent: 5 sit-on-top kayak and 12 sit-in kayaks

2 tandem adult kayaks for rent: 1 sit-on-top and 1 sit-in

7 youth kayaks for rent: 5 sit-on-top and 2 sit-in

According to Arkansas law, each person must have a life jacket available in the kayak. Children under the age of thirteen must wear a life jacket at all times while in the vessel. Give us a call if you have any questions, or book your stay and add on some kayaks for your trip!

Adding kayaks makes for a great water adventure! The Ouachita River Oden access is less than a 1\2 mile away. Kayaks are also a great way to get out and explore the islands on Lake Ouachita!
